Maggie McGee's Sports Bar has been a Salt Lake institution for over 40 years, originally opening its doors in 1969 when Arden Brimhall decided that Salt Lake City needed an Irish Pub. Maggie’s was an instant success and operated under Arden’s watchful eye for almost 30 years.

In 1999 James Brush took ownership and enlarged and updated Salt Lake City's favorite nightspot with a series of improvements including a remodel, Karaoke center, pool tables, and a redesigned stage/dance floor. Jim introduced a unique decor inspired by his love for sports and popularized Karaoke in Salt Lake City. In 2008 the square footage was nearly doubled with the addition of a new game room featuring six pool tables, air hockey, two electronic dart boards, mini-shuffleboard, and a 10000 watt satellite music system along with an expanded bar and additional flat screen TVs.

In 2010 Thomas and Rebekah Wiandt took ownership and are introducing a series of small changes to freshen up the look and make your evening at Maggie’s even more enjoyable. We’ve repainted, rearranged, and updated the décor to brighten the atmosphere, updated the sound system to better handle live music, and we’re scheduling local cover bands at least two Saturday’s per month. Continuing the trend you've grown accustomed to, we'll have a variety of food and drink specials, including a combination of bar food and home-cooked dishes, great drink specials, and Monday Night Football giveaways with a grand prize at Super Bowl.

Of course Karaoke is offered every night and is very popular at Maggie McGee's. Our well stocked bar and great bartenders will create any drink you can imagine. Our 24 TVs make Maggie McGee's Sport Bar a great place to catch your favorite team. During football season, we’re a favorite spot for watching local college ball, NFL Sunday Ticket and Monday Night Football with friends. Complete with dart boards, video games, and six full size pool tables.
